Excuse me, but what can you see in Manga's Mrs. Nantokokantoka
I found this article, and I find this very hypocrite (is that the right word?) because they are complaining about sexual text in their children their summer homework. I mean have the never read Manga's or something? What can you see in those? what can you see on eye sight in the conbini's yes that's right... porn magazines... and then they are complaining about some text in their homework...
Aaa well, welcome to Japan ![]()

Haha! I like how they put "Favorite sexual positions" as a topic that men and women discuss when getting acquainted. Wouldn't that be a little complicated for first-year english students?
Maybe since it is through the school the Japanese public sees it as the school saying it is right to, what's the word, "observe" this material. As if the school was backing this material. Whereas if it is in a "conbini" then it is more of a free-will issue or at the parents fault. Does any of this make sense? Sorry but I'm having trouble trying to get what I want to "say" into words.

Wow, dont know exactly where you found that article D.B, but its brilliant. What got me was a parents reaction to the phrase 'favourite sexual position'. That phrase is not pornographic at all, its just a statement of human behaviour. And the word you were looking for was hypocritical. And from what Ive seen, Manga is filled with subliminal sexual images, most comics/cartoons are.

No, it is not hypocritical. (Yes, that's the right word, though.)
Manga are not made for educational purposes. They are for private use. The teacher gave material for educational purposes. He/She was foolish not to have looked at it carefully enough (or even more foolish if he had read it and thought he could slip it by). |
