Japanese fantasy and sf books

Can somebody suggest me any of these books? (and published in English). I'd like to read, for now, all I have read is manga. Except for Abe Kobo "Daiyon kampyôki".

Sorry all I can think of right now is 'Dragon Sword and Wind Child'. Went out of print but is being released again by Viz next month. You can find it on Amazon. Its about this girl who's the reincarantion of a godess of darkness and has to lead an army against the gods of light. Quite enjoyable.

Oh okay theres another called the 'Twelve Kingdoms' based on a manga. never read it but read alot of good things about it.
Will let you know about more once my heads less fogged up

Thanks. 12 kingdom anime was great. But I didn't know the novel was published in English.

BTW, if somebody knows ebooks, it would be appreciated too.
