Shiina Ringo
I heard one of her newer songs - which she translated into English - and I found it very comical to hear the lyrics in English
but on second listen it wasn't so dramatic for me lolanyone here like her music..?

Not really.
![]() Oh, wait. I DID enjoy 歌舞伎町の女王 for about a month. That was a solid pop song. Her stuff with 東京事変 however, she sounds like she is just coasting, which she has every right to but is not very exciting to listen to.

her first album was written by this funky bassist - who also does the bass for the album
it's very well written and produced i find her newer songs very j-popish (i.e bad) lol - but you should check out her first album if you haven't heard alot of her stuff
