It seems that Japanese lose their interest in the yearly A-Bomb memorial as well as the topic itself:

I have about 11 years ago. It's a great place to go and learn.
Completely puts the bomb into real perspective, in a neat and neutral manner. Well, that's what I felt at least.

I went to the Nagasaki peace park and museum just last year. My impressions would seem to indicate that it is of a similar vein as the Hiroshima museum according to moyashi. On a slightly related note it's good to see the people kicking up a big fuss over this...
