Just learning sentence construction, hooray!

All I can say is this is why I've done poorly in English class! Japanese seems to be so much simpler and to the point than English is, none of that preposition and linking verbs crap

Your experience is not unusual.
I lost Korean at age 7-9, and relearned it all my life.
My Korean now is above most Koreans' except for the local dialects.
The comparative way of learning languages is probably one of the best ways to see the uniqueness of any particular language, I think!

H: True I am not you, and I cannot know. Likewise, I know you're not, therefore I know you don't.
Z: You asked me how I knew implying you knew I knew. In fact I saw some fish, strolling down by the Hao River, all jolly and gay.

Have fun. I can't seem to get it right. I always get confused using は OR が and the other particles i got a basic idea of how to use them. i just need more conversational practice to use the vocabulary i learned and forgotten. :(
