Shin
Hello.
I was wondering, does Shin Buddhism have a sect known as Hongwanji-ha, that has two sects which are Nishi Hongwanji or Higashi Hongwanji? Or does Shin Buddhism have two sub sects that are Nishi Hongwanji and Higashi Hongwanji? Also, what terminology is more commonly used, Nishi or Honpa? And what is the largest sub sect of Shin in Japan? Thanks!

"Ieyasu, fearful of excess power of the Hongwanji, sympathized with Kyonyo, and in 1602, gave him land on Shichijo Karasuma, and a new temple was built there. This was named HIGASHI HONGWANJI or the OTANI branch."
