Mobile Phone cost in japan?

im curious on what a mobile phone cost in japan
also how much each call cost and all that..

anyone have an idea?
i know it can vary

Phones range from almost free (with service purchase) to tens of thousands of yen (few hundred dollars).

Incoming calls are free. Outgoing calls are 10 to 60 yen depending on the service plan and you usually get so many yen worth included with your monthly fee.
