does a japanese mobile phone accept French SIM Card? and so does it funzione in France?

Coz i want to buy a japanese keitai, but i live in France right now...

Unfortunaly ,,,,JApanese heitai can`t accept any other phones coz they don`t have [tip] in it.
I heard Chinese or Taiwannes ones can accept others.

ok, so if i buy a keitai in japan, it will not be compatible with french operators?
does japanese cells have SIM Card, like European cells?

Even if the SIM-card would fit, i believe they use a different protocol and frequency in Japan. You'd never be able to use it anywhere else then Japan.
