Love Ballads

Interesting that nobody has brought up anything about ballads yet.

So here goes.

2 of my favorite songs are by Ozaki Yutaka.
Oh, my little girl
I love you

Both of these songs are pretty major since Ozaki was very very popular before he died (drugs or was it suicide? probably both)

I also like many songs from Anzenchitai, Inoue Yosui (anzenchitai's Sempai) and anzenchitai's lead vocal gone solo Tamaki Koji.

Next would be ???
Chage and Aska, Kubota Toshinobu, and Fukuyama Masaharu.

X japan

Pardon me for my ignorance, but does X-Japan sing only in English? Soretomo, Do they sing in Japanese as well?
Do they sing songs in Nihongo and eigo?
And what genre do they belong to? Hard rock?
Comparable to whom in the English music world?

All I know it is Koizumi souri's favorite band..

Sankyu..........

They sing (or rather sung) in both English and Japanese. They usually mixed it up, like so many other Japanese bands do and always have done.
Their influences came from Kiss and Queen among others. You can really here the Queen-like guitar-solo's in some of their songs.
