Talking Maguro-don power !

For those who like maguro (raw tuna) and rice, here are a few very easy recipes that are very Japanese and delicious at the same time. All recipes use boiled Japanese rice, but I shorten it to "rice" in the recipe.

1) Negi-toro-don (ねぎとろ丼)

You'll need to buy some ""negitoro", which in Japan is sold in pack in supermarket. It consist of minced raw tuna and sliced leeks. Just mix them together with some wasabi.

Put some rice into a bowl, add some nori (海苔, laver seaweed) leaves on the top, some shouyu (醤油). Then add the negitoro on the top and eat !

2) maguro-don (鮪丼)

Same as above, but replace the negitoro by sashimi of maguro mixed in shouyu and wasabi. You can also add a raw egg to make tsukimi-maguro-don (月見マグロ丼)

3) maguro-avocado-don (鮪アボカド丼)

Same as above, but add pieces of avocado. You can also do the tsukimi version by adding a raw egg.

4) kaisen-don (海鮮丼)

Same as the negitoro-don, but half is negitoro and the other half scallops (帆立) and raw prawns (車海老).

That's it ! 4 easy dishes to make when you are in a hurry (takes 2min to prepare) and won't disappoint you.
