Movies Japan

I recommend these two Japanese movies (sub-titles)

---->AFTERLIFE

---->A TAXING WOMEN

these two movies, are intresting ideas, good plot,
with many characters.

most japanese movies have the basic same plot;
young guy finds a bag of money,
money belongs to gangesters,
many chase scenes, and a ex-girlfriends
is involved. many confusing twist and at
end guy and girl escape from gangesters
with money

One comment;

The movie AFTERLIFE was one of the most
intresting movies I have seen in a long time.

Its about what people think of life, but does
this in a very very very unique and unusual way !!!!!

unfortunately i haven't seen any of the movies above, but there are plenty of good japanese movies.
do you know 'Shall we dance?' and 'Welcome, Mr. McDonald' (or something alike, i can't remember quite well...)? Very funny! There's another one, from Beat Takeshi, can't remember the name as well, but it's a drama, a bit sanguinary, about yakuza...!

@ Beat Takeshi
The yakuza movie I think is "Brothers"

@ Taxing woman and AFterlife
Taxing Woman = marusa no onna ( I and II) by Juzo Itami, a brillant dead conductor.
Afterlife? ... who is the producer or I wonder what the Japanese title is ?

I think the forums are doing great!

Almost zero bickering. If any, it is normally settled when we all realize that we've gone a bit too far.

I'm probably the only troll here.

Relax ...
