What's this mean?

最初の仕事は何だった?
忌野キョシロウの通訳。

I know the question, more or less. I just can't figure out the answer.

Thanks.

Kyoshiro (清志郎) is probably the last name of this musician they did translation work for.

I was wondering what kyoshirou was, and I couldn't figure out why it was in Katakana.

The names of actors, singers and other talent types are often given in katakana.

I think you don't wander why it was in katakana.
I guess the writer may forgot his name in Kanji or someting.

Imawano Kiyoshiro is a Japanese musician.
He used to be a leader of a band named "RC SUCCESSION".
His name is 忌野清志郎 in Kanji.
