You should give us more of the context rather than sentence fragments because it's difficult to say in some cases. My guesses based on what you posted:

me-ru ha yonda yo --> I read your mail.
madokara --> "from the window"
o mitetan wa shitteta no --> [I] knew [you] were looking

Konnichiwa!
I'm learning some Japanese but have never really translated anything so umm...don't go by my account. I'll try

me-ru wa yonda yo--> I called out Mel
mado kara--> from the window
wo miteta n wa shitteta no --> did you see me?

"Did you see me call out Mel from the window?"

I'm not sure about the last line heehee gomen nasai
That's what I think it means.

Anyone else care to comment or translate. I too wouldn't mind knowing what that means or if my translation is somewhat right ^^

And meru, is that an accepted variation ? I've only seen it from my tutor -- she may have just been away too long....

Hmmm...

いそ がしくてしにそう
"いそ がし" means busy right?.... what about "くてしにそう"?
Also...
(name)がかえってからまいにちまいにちいそがしいよ
any ideas on that one?
Seems awkward...

Close, but no pocky stick.

いそがしい means busy.

いそがしくて is the -te connective form of i-adjectives.

That should be しにそう
If I say しに is the -masu stem of a verb that should be a big enough hint.

It splits up as follows
(name) が かえって から まいにち まいにち いそがしい よ
which bits don't you get?

Errr... does it mean "deadly busy"?

"It splits up as follows
(name) が かえって から まいにち まいにち いそがしい よ
which bits don't you get?"

Hmmm.... well... most of it!...
my Japanese is terrible!
All I can guess out of it is.... "(Name) on the contrary, because everyday, everyday busy (or maybe selfish?)"
Um...
so yeah...
any chance of a better translation?

Pretty much "So busy it feels like I'm going to die." would be a more literal translation.

Er, wrong かえる.
帰る 【かえる】 (v5r) to go back; to go home; to come home; to return; (P)

"Since (name) got back day after day after day is busy!"

Let's do it by (over, on the) phone, but I would imagine the "wo" is conversationally dropped in a case like this.

So what is this? Did you find a pen pal that wants to have phone sex?

Lucky you!
