I am totally shocked!

Today a friend of mine sent me a movie fragment of a Japanese television show. I will try to describe what I saw in the most decent languge possible.
There were two guys, gaijin, pornstars I suspect and they were both totally naked. On the stand in the studio were a lot of Japanese girls all looking in disbelief and giggling. Then some of the girls were picked out and they had to do lots of things with those guys, including having sex. It was all shown on television. At first I thought it was very strange because I had never seen anything like it, but when I noticed that these girls were looking all so very young I was totally shocked!

Is it because of me or are Japanese really so shameless?

Hum...asians usually look younger than they are, especially girls...beside I was told there's not really a law that forbid young girls (above 16) to have sex with older boys...
Anyway, who knows? If these girls wanted to do it in front of a camera it's their problem...if you don't like it, just don't watch it , that's all...

Wouter, in Japan, sex is very practical. It's common. It's not a Puritan-based society like the U.S.A. There, this type of exploitation is looked with fervent aversion. But that's my brief opinion. It seems the hentai-ness became looked down with the passing of American?Western ideals into the Japanese psyche.

Back in the early 70's they waited till 10 at night, and then you got your nudity on TV ! I never could figure out the rules on when & where, WHAT was OK. Somethings were blocked and others were wide open?

Don't misunderstand me, I didn't say I cannot watch it.
I was just shocked because the girls seemed so young and because it was all so obscene. I know Japanese girls look younger than they in fact are, but still there were girls of about 16 or 17 years old. I just cannot imagine something like this happening in the place where I live. I just think it was absolutely obscene. Well maybe I've grown up with a too moral education. I can't blame myself for it.

Has anyone actually seen this on Japanese TV? What is the name of the show? They would never show the entire "act" clearly on TV anyway.

It wasn't too long ago that Paris Hilton's sex video was circulating around the internet. She looked pretty young from what I heard.

Even the vulgar Japanese have their limits.

They have pretty strict "Waisetsubutsu Chinretsuzai" (explicit exposure of genitalia) laws. You couldn't get a magazine like Penthouse at a newsstand. Anything that do show explicit material are most likely illegal and black-marketed, of which there is much.

The darker side of Japan does have a fairly big Lolita complex, that much is sure. It is one of my larger problems with Japan. It is really sad when some high school girls living in the busier parts of large cities think being harassed by dirty old men is just part of growing up and something they take in stride.

I agree with you that is was obscene - perhaps the group mentality for some extends even into the bedroom...

I wouldn't be surprised hearing such a prudish and tight-assed opinion from an American, but from a Belgian!? Good grief... now I am thorougly shocked!

Contrary to what the (Christian) church and other braindead institutions want to make you believe, sex is something completely natural, and there's absolutely nothing wrong about it - but you should always think of using contraceptives (condoms etc).

There's also nothing wrong with the age of the girls.

I seriously doubt that this is a regular Japanese TV programme. Japanese TV (at least the free channels) never shows sex or nudity. Even in adds for shampoo, etc, they will always hide the sensitive areas, while they don't in Europe (at least not the breast). There is no porn at all (even late at night) on regular channels.

Wouter,, would you happen to know which channel that comes from ? (any logo on the screen ?)

Speaking of enjo-kosai, I saw a program on TechTV called "Wired for Sex", and one show was about Japan. They mentioned in that program that enjo-kosai was not just common for teenage girls/young single women, but married women too. I didn't realize that. This was in Tokyo, though.

Japanese girls fool around probably as much as American girls do, except Japanese girls oftentimes are offered money and gifts by Japanese "boyfriends". As for enjo-kosai, unlike hookers in the U.S., Japanese hookers usually don't spend their "hard-earned" money on drugs, many managed to save enough to open a boutique or coffee shop. Look, prostitution is not morally right but it is a quick way to make some money for sure.

Maciamo is right....it had to be a video or something. No way that would be on regular TV. I've never seen anything like that and I got cable. I've been here close to 10 years and still never seen more than the friendly breast show, etc.
