If you spend an hour or so on it a day I'd be very surprised if you still need romaji only materials in a weeks time.

Also, the way I've learned all the kana is to write them over and over and over. I got the basics memorized in just under a month, and my only problems now are kanji and my (very) limited vocabulary.

Download the dictionary from "EXTRA: Dictionaries" section (Actually it's better to go to the Monash FTP Archive and get the latest version and index files. 4. Stick everything in the same directory and unzip it all. 5. Double-click JFC.exe 6. Say YES to "Do you want to install this copy of JFC?" 7. Open flash-card set (e.g. 01-01.jfc) If you haven't missed anything above then say exactly what message JFC gives and when. |

If you are using a computer program, then you don't need to worry about this, but when I wrote out my flashcards, they were innacurate. I fixed that by making them on the computer and printing them, because when you type it's always right. Also, once you finish being able to read them, MAKE SURE YOU PRACTICE WRITING THEM! I didn't and for a bit after, and still now, sometimes I have trouble remembering some of the less used ones, and many katakana.

Acutlly...
I found another program called njstar.that lets you type out the katakana and hiragana so i typed out both and printed them out. it helps alot i have actually gotten bette all around...
I'm starting to get the hang of the particles(which was the hardes to get sofar besides writing) so eventually i'll get comfortable i guess but until then i'll be here(LOL) asking questions to all you cool people. so to all who are helping and have helpd and will continue to help Doumo Arigatou Gozaimasu!!! |
