Think of
-temo -kutemo -demo as "even if" or thereabouts. Ame ga furu (to rain) Hashiri ni iku (to go running) Ame ga fut[temo] hashiri ni iku. (go running even if it rains) Samui (to feel cold) Soto ni deru (to go outside) samu[kutemo] soto ni deteikou (let's go outside even if it's cold) "demo" is not really a suffix. Think of it as "but". "ame ga futtekita yo, demo ikoune" (it's beginning to rain, but let's go) Hope that helps. I'll cover -eba -reba -nara another time. Or someone else can handle that. It's Friday night before July 4th weekend and I'm still in the office. I'm gonna leave soon.
