So in a lesson in my book i have following sentence:
学校まで 何で 行きますか?
why do they use まで and not に or へ?

And this sentence should mean "how many minutes ago did the car leave the company?"
車は 何分まえに かいしゃを でましたか?
is it correct?
thanks in advance

まで indicates the destination; not only "temporal"(i.e. "until") but also "spatial."

Yes, your translation is correct.

so i use まで if i have concrete destination i want to go? would the meaning change if i used に instead?
