Evening!
1) I find myself saying these a lot, but I'm still not sure how to say them correctly.
"i've forgotten how to say ___"
"i've forgotten the word."
"i keep forgetting ___"
Should 忘れる be in the past or progressive tense? And for "word", do I use 言葉?
For example, while talking to a friend "昨日、庭には・・・あぁ、「言葉忘れちゃった]" (My guess.)
Or would it even be おぼえていない?
2) Would "lame" be an accurate translation for ださい? And in reference to clothing, could いまどき be translated as "stylish/ in fashion"? (この服、いまどきじゃないよ。)
