Dear people who are good at English and Japanese.
One of my students asked me how "eiga wa ie de miru yori eigakan de
miru hou ga hakuryoku ga aru. (映画は家で見るより映画館で見るほうが
迫力がある)" should be translated into English. But I was not sure about it.

I've tried to translate it, but I'm not sure if it's all right or not. Would you
please check and correct it if needed?

My translation:
Movies look more powerful when seen at a theater than seen at home.

Thanks in advance.
Hirashin

Not quite sure about "look powerful", in English I can only seem to interpret this as 強そう. My go:
Movies are more impressive to watch at the theatre.
Movies have more impact when watched at the theatre.

I was going to suggest impressive for 迫力 also.
Movies are more impressive when seen at a theater than seen at home.
