Kagurazaka _y

Bishamon gate, Zenkoku-ji, Kagurazaka Akagi Jinja, Kagurazaka Nestled in the North-Eastern part of Shinjuku ward, Kagurazaka is a quiet and pleasant "shitamachi" area, little visited by foreigners.

The two points of interest are the Buddhist Zenkoku-ji Temple, better known for its Chinese-style Bishamon gate, and the Shinto Akagi Jinja Shrine.

Kagurazaka also has plenty of restaurants, cafes and small shops. There are quite a few French restaurants around.
