Pros: great music, cheering atmosphere, funny, entertaining, romantic
Cons: realistic Tokyo setting, but surreal actions

When I first started watching Love Hina, I didn't know what to expect and was a bit skeptical. But after a few episodes, it becomes addictive, especially the music. The characters are very attaching. The student and family atmosphere combined and the general cheerfulnesss of the scenes make it a very pleasant and enjoyable anime to watch.

Pros: great humor, best character development ever seen, fun story
Cons: difficult to give an age rating in my opinion

I liked the series from the beginning till the end.
Only in the middle of the tv version the story lacks off for a moment but comes back at rail at episode 20.

The music: Opening theme Sakura Saku, when I first heard it, I was like what the heck is this?
After a while it became one of my favorite songs. It is really addictive!

The character development is incredible!
Especially with Urashima Keitaro, the main character.
He starts as a real looser in life but when you get into the story it changes!
I even got jeaulous at him at some point ^^

These series are very addictive!

One negative point: The flying turtles, Kaolla Su with her robots... it gets a bit too chilren's like at some moment but that is at very short time and really not a reason not to see this great show.

Pros: Everything especially storyline
Cons: Wouldn't happen in real life, but then what manga/anime would?

I have bought all the manga series (1-14) and i've got a few of the videos. It was quite hard however due to the annoying price barrier of manga in the UK. I asked a japanese friend how much they would normally pay for a manga and the answer was three times cheaper than the UK price.

Pros: Hilarous, good storyline.
Cons: a little repetitive at times, but it doesn't really get in the way

I loved the series until I watched the anime. Many people I know couldn't go back to it after reading the manga, or couldn't really finish the series. I've read both the english dub manga 1-14, and scanlations.. honestly the scanlations are much better IMO, but since it's liscensed now it'd be illegal to dL it without first buying ther Tokyopop ones. Much like the reviewer "syntax", I started to think, damn, this guy has too much luck".

Unlike your typical "harem" manga, the girls don't start off liking him. Also, it offers much more fan service than the anime. But while reading it, you'll probably get so hooked that that stuff probably won't really matter much.

Pros: superb characters, addictive storyline, FUNNY
Cons: somewhat repetitive or childlike but it won't get in the way

I read the whole manga and it was amazing I really liked it. The change of settings, character development, dialog, and storyline will make for a sotry you can't put down. It'll make you go through plenty of emotions and I totally recommend it. Maybe a tiny bit child-like at times or a bit repetitive but ignorable for a great story.

Pros: everything but whats in the cons
Cons: the sister... >.> only person I wish to kill haha

I started reading it... It was funny but by the third book i wondered how they got 14 books worth of jokes out of it. By the 14th book, ohhhh such a satisfying ending, but yet I wondered how they ONLY got 14 books out of it. I wanted to know what happens after the end... (can spoil it too much haha) I loved it!!! one of the few I could give a perfect score. ^-^

however the anime took away from wonderful feel of the books so i didn't watch it so no comment on that :P
