Pros: Great animation, good extras, a nice film score...well-rounded.
Cons:

What can I say? Spirited Away, a film on Chihiro Ogino's journey to another world, where a coming of age begins to take place, has a great film score, wonderful animation, excellent English and Japanese casts, and some fun extras. Among the extras, which are on the second of two discs, you have some commercials, and a television feature previewing the movie and how everything was set up.

I recommend this film to anyone. It's a must-have, most definitely.

Pros: the soundtrack
Cons: the anoying americans

tis film had me in tears... within the first 5 minutes.
i simply ador the sound track. it fits so brilliently with the beauty of this film. the style is very fitting, and the animation is brilliently done (as is always the case with ghilbi).
i have to say, this rebooted my love for anime. i simply despise the american dumned version of japanese anime, it drives me insane. and i can't stand the fact that all my anime has the stupic americans doing the comentry, and american interviews on the end....
sorry, i'm sounding very synicall here.... i just like to hear the opinion of the original makers, not the western ideas of it.
having said this, i never watch the dubed anyway, and the story is something that really takes you to another plane.
if you're a fan of out of this reality fantisy, with cute little hints of love stories and great and bizzar characters, then this is really the film to watch.

Pros: beautifull story/animation/music, defenitly a classic!
Cons: for the younger children maybe hard to understand

I have nothing bad to say about this movie, only that it took me some private brainstorming until I understood the story.

The music is so great, so is the animation!

I watched the original Japanese version with subtitles in my language, I think it is better.

I am not a fan of dubbing, it erases part of it's culture!

Pros: Very well drawn, great storyline, well designed characters, great musical score
Cons: The movie could be a bit too long to hold kids attention throughout, kids might find some of the characters scary or difficult to understand etc

I LOVE this movie- IMHO (in my honest/humble opinion)it is one of the best movies that Miyazaki has ever produced, i fell in love with the movie almost instantly the first time i watched it. Another good thing about it apart from all the positive points that i have given about it already is that the movie really can appeal just as much to adults as it can to children- in fact i think it is probably a better movie for the teenage to adult audience than very young children audience as teenagers and adults will probably be able to appreciate the brilliance of this movie more. How it is still very accessible to all audiences etc.
At times Spirited Away reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, however i really haven't seen another movie quite like this, it is very unique and awesomely done, 10 out of 10 for me "thumbs up" Smile .
