Dear valued Members,

before posting a translation request, please make sure that

  • Your request is reasonably short.

To get an impression of which requests are considered appropriate, please browse this subforum before submitting your own question.
  • Translation requests are related to your language studies.

Translation requests that are not study-related (manuals, technical instructions, etc.) are likely to be ignored.
  • You submit your own serious attempt at translating your text.

Please do not submit entire song lyrics or long-ish manga and anime excerpts (unless you have attempted to translate them yourself).

Please note that
  • the members posting in the translation subforum are all volunteers who assist others as a matter of courtesy. So please be patient and do not take their help for granted.

Thank you for your understanding!

The Rules for Translation Requests have been revised reflecting the recent spate of requests that were clearly not related to Japanese language studies.
