Hello All, My Apologies If This Is The Wrong Forum Or Wrong Thread But I Simply Do Not Know What Better Forum To Start This Thread In.

I Have Sudden Inspirations From My Hidden Watchmen To Visit South Korea Around The End Of March For A Month Or Two To Explore And Investigate Business Cultural Exchange Opportunities Between South Korea & Japan.

Right Now, I Am Just Worried About Two Major Factors, Air-Travel & Particularly, Accomodation.

For All You Japanese Fanatics Who Have Visited & Lived In South Korea In The Past, Can You Introduce Some Accomodation Options For Me?

I Am Looking At Middle Of The Market Accomodation Options. Nothing Too Expensive Or Too Cheap.

Cheers. ;)

I.1 Display of courtesy

Our members and staff go to great lengths to answer questions and support requests. As a matter of general courtesy and basic "netiquette," we ask posters to acknowledge their efforts by either replying to their thread in a timely fashion or by expressing their gratitude with a "like". While the absence of such civility is deplorable, it will not result in an infraction. Be advised however that any future requests by members deemed discourteous and/or uncooperative may simply be ignored.

my two cents...

Excuse Me, Was I Rude Or Uncooperative In Any Of My Posts?

Why Would You Post Something Like That?

After answers were posted to several of your questions, you didn't take the time to acknowledge those answers. It's not that you're expected to be profusely grateful or anything, but if you don't respond at all then the people who answered your questions don't know if you even read the responses, or if you did read them, if they were understood at all.

Of course if you do respond to acknowledge that you did get the answer, it would be polite to say 'thank you' while you're at it, but it's mostly the lack of response that is frustrating to people.

It Would Be Useful To Inform Us Which Areas Of Which Cities You Plan To Stay. Asking For Accommodation Recommendations For The Whole Country Seems Absurd And Pointless.

You're in Japan? Air travel is cheap, Asiana and Peach are probably the cheapest: tokyo to seoul budget airlines - Google Search

Use hostelworld.com or booking.com to look up cheap accommodations. You could check out couchsurfing, but know that it's ALSO a community that requires some participation and adherence to the rules (and a fully filled-out profile) and thoughtful messages when you ask people to let you stay with them. It could be a great opportunity to meet someone local, but if you aren't interested in socializing then stick to hostels.

Alternatively, there are people who just crash in jjimjilbang (like sento) or internet cafes, if you're on the cheap-cheap.

I do hope you take a moment to acknowledge the responses you get for your questions both here and in your language thread.

Also, what's up with using Camel Case? Why would anyone do that?

A lot of replies are not worth my immediate responses or even gratitude as they are rather most demeaning and condescending..

I shall not say which posts or posters are "demeaning and condescending" bcos despite my best attempts at courtesy.. i still get a lot of "brazen insolence" back in return..

But Your Reply Is Still Good.. So I Say Thanks.. Since Peeps Are Particular About Me Saying Thanks For Every Reply They Make.. Which Is Pretty Ridiculous..

I Know Japanese Are Polite But Not Impolitely Insincerely Fake..

Just Look At KushyWoozy..

I Have No Problems With Saying Thanks To His Posts Immediately & Directly..

His Friendly Face Radiate All Types & Manners Of Sincere Friendliness Which Of Course Include Politeness To Friends & Potential Friends & Friendly Strangers, Of Course..

With All Manners Of Condescending, Demeaning Posts Thrown At Me..

You Expect Me To Say Thanks?..

Maybe You Should All Watch Your Attitudes First Before Expecting Courtesy From Me.. MySelf .. I?

Btw, Are Camel Cases Condescending, Demeaning, Hmmmm?..

Has someone told you that you are expected to give thanks for every reply? Or merely that it is nice to give some sort of acknowledgement you have seen the replies?

As hard as it is to get some young people to use their cap keys at all, it pains me to mention it.... Could you follow normal English capitalization conventions, please?

There is another forum rule.

III. Language
Pay reasonable attention to written English communication standards. This includes the use of proper grammatical structure, punctuation, capitalization, spacing, and spelling. In particular, "I" should be capitalized, add a space after - not before - a comma, a period, and other punctuation. Multiple exclamation marks as well as "shouting" (the usage of capitalised characters aka "CAPS lock" - all-CAPS) are also discouraged. SMS messaging shorthand ("text-message-speak"), such as using "u" for "you", "plz" for "please", "gonna" for "going to" or "wanna" for "want to" is not acceptable.

Camel case is very hard to read. It can make it very difficult to understand a sentence or make the reader re-read it to make sure they understand the reading.
