Hi everyone

I want to study Biotechnology in Japan, but that is Plan A, i'm not sure if i can afford the Costs for living there during study.

My Plan B would be an Online Degree while i am working and do the Practical Part at Workplace. But when i search the web, i can't find Online Degrees in Japan only Japanese Online Degrees, it's not what i want.

Does someone know where i can find a List with all Online Degrees in Japan? Some Webseites habe a List with Degrees but not Online Degrees.

And does someone have experience with Online Degrees?

Before i start studying i want and must make an University Preparatory Course, but i found a List from MEXT with 40 or 50 Schools offering the Course i need.

Thank you very much for your help

There are such programs. A friend of mine graduated from one, many years ago. There are two things you must take into account:

1. Many such programs have a requirement that the student attend classes at the school for a certain brief period a certain number of times per term.

2. The programs and course work are almost certain to be conducted in Japanese.

Thank you mdchachi and Mike Chash for your responses, it's not a Problem for me to travel a few times to Japan.
And i said in my first Message that i first make an Universerity Preparatory Course, and the Courses i know have learning of the Japanese Language included.
It shouldn't be a Problem for me to study in Japanese, or why do you think the Japanese Language could be a Problem for me?

Because we don't know your level of Japanese. What is it?

I mentioned it the same general way that they put warnings on all aspirin bottles.

We get inquiries from people who seem to think that most/many programs are taught in English here. We also get inquiries from people who severely underestimate the amount of hard work involved in going from zero-little Japanese skills to the skills necessary for doing college level work in Japanese.

I don't automatically assume that you or anyone else can't study in Japanese; a great many foreign students do so successfully. But since the information is readily available online if you search for it in Japanese and can read the information in Japanese and since you're asking us instead of just researching the information directly yourself, it is a safe guess that at present your Japanese is nowhere near the level for doing college work in Japanese.

So how do you explain the many English speakers that keep asking questions easily answered by Google?
