Hi Guys,
I have a listening practice question I am trying at the moment but I don't understand something in the final line.

To sum up the conversation. There is a male and female student talking and the male is trying to get the female to go on a trip to the sea on Sunday. However the female declines as she has a test on monday and needs to study.

He says the following
同曜日に頑張ったら大丈夫だよ。

and she replies
うーん。苦手な科目だから一日じゃきついかも。また今度誘って。

i get that as she is weak at this subject and wants both days to study, so asks him to please invite her next time.

but what is the meaning/Grammar of 一日じゃきついかも?
i seems a bit like the English saying "one day probably won't cut it"

よろしくお願いします。

じゃ = では

Note that this では is the particle で and not the copula で.

【 (一日) で 】は 【 きつい 】

Or maybe it is the copula. Hell, I don't know.

Yes, で is a particle, indicating "time period" as same as 20分で駅に着いた or あとひと月で家が完成する. 一日でテスト勉強を終えるのはきつい makes more sense, maybe?

同曜日 must be a mishearing of 土曜日.
きつい means tough/tight/demanding there.
