Okazaki Castle is located in Okazaki City in Aichi Prefecture and famous for being the birthplace of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate. The current edifice, a hilltop castle, is a reconstruction of the original donjon with its annex and wellhouse.
