Kenroku-en (兼六園) is one of the three Great Gardens of Japan. it is located in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture and was founded by the Maeda clan in 1620. Here, a statue of Prince Yamato erected in 1880 to commemorate the Ishikawa samurai who died in the Satsuma Rebellion of 1877.
