    Two art works, tiles

It's the latter. They are even not Chinese characters. Most of them are unidentifiable.

    Translate

It would be a fake flag anyway. The words such like "life insurance", "specific volume", "regarding preservation" or a Simplified Chinese character 爱 are not written on yosegaki hinomaru.

    否 help

It's used as an interjection. What is the phrase following it? I suppose it's 諸君ヲ、否!!日本ヲ or something like that. (Incidentally, the reading is いな, not いや.)

    Question About Names

Yes, Nobuhide is really used as a male given name, for example Oda Nobuhide, the father of Oda Nobunaga. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oda_Nobuhide https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nobuhide_Minorikawa https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E6%B4%A5%E8%BB%BD%E4%BF%A1%E8%8B%B1

What would be the most natural way to express "Not since...have/has..."

    (y) Yes, that's exactly the phrase I would use. 猛々しい is more likely brave/heroic. 図太い, 厚かましい or 大胆な would suit it.

What would be the most natural way to express "Not since...have/has..."

The translation of "not since~" is correct, but 1) "to be caught" is passive, 2) I wouldn't use 白昼堂々 for "right in front of the teacher", 3) は rules the whole sentence, so if you use it after 三谷くん, 三谷くん is also interpreted as the subject of 見たことはない, 4) it doesn't have the meaning "in a student"...

Trying to create a Japanese word by combining others, does this work?

Actually, 孤独死 is a really used word, meaning lonely death/dying alone, i.e., it's 孤独に死ぬ, unlike 過労死 (過労で死ぬ). ;) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kodokushi

    Question About Names

Yeah, Akechi Mitsuhide is no doubt the most well-known Mitsuhide, and because of that, it's the symbol of betrayal, just like Judas Iscariot.

This is from a record by an officer. He also said like this. However, it's written as Kung-i-ch'ang 公義場 in a map I found. Probably 公義場 is a variant of the location name, as same as 韓庄 vs. 韓荘.

    Question About Names

This might be unnecessary meddling, but Tsuhide doesn't sound like a Japanese name to me. (There is no problem with Mitsuhide, Katsuhide, Tatsuhide, etc. as a male given name, though.)

Help Please help with passage translation

Although "aisatsu" is used wrongly, it's understandable enough what you wanted to say by it. My main point is "your interpretation is way off". Furthermore, the more important problem is that you thought you were certain you got the gist of the text. This can be a fatal defect of interpretation...

Help Please help with passage translation

Sorry to point this out, but your interpretation is way off. ~けれども、それよりむしろ is not "putting aside". It means that 知行のご加増や、金銀を過分に拝領する時 are most grateful, but rather, おかけいただくただ一言 is more grateful than those things. Notice that おかけいただくただ一言がありがたく means "just a word given by your Lord is grateful"...
