Say if I were to go to Japan today are there any commonly used Kanji symbols I should be aware of.

I know that Japan pulled the Chinese writing system to their culture (Kanji) or something like that. But is there a distinct difference between the two? Or are the Kanji used in Nihongo exactly the same as the Chinese symbols? I'm just curious.

Lol there isa site that helps me a lot. Its called Japan Activator. They have great examples and they start each lesson with a conversation so you can get the hang of it fast.
They also have a phone app called JA Sensei. That should be helpful right? :3
