need help understanding the sentences in a manga

Sorry if I offended any you in any ways. It wasn't my intention. Yes, it's been three years since my last post here (didn't realized it's been that long), and I admit, learning Japanese isn't my top priority so those years wasn't spent on learning it in a continuous way. Just want to clear up...

need help understanding the sentences in a manga

Oh, I'm sorry if that's not what you're asking. I haven't learn about it. So 受け継がれ 繋がり is a verb conjugation? I got that feeling from how the words are structured, but I haven't learned tenses yet (nor do I know what the term for it), so I've been trying to find the right tenses/any hint of...

need help understanding the sentences in a manga

I know 繋がり is intransitive verb. It explains the state of the subject. As for 受け継がれ. I think it's transitive verb (can't find anything on the -re form, unless it's actually a short version of -rareru?)

Sorry if I'm not being clear. I'm really a beginner in japanese and I learn it on my own. (I'm probably level 0 if I took up fluency test). On page 40, I can't understand the last two panel. The ghost is saying something about the house and the boy, I think. So "uketsugare tsunagari kimi no...

Yeah, well, I kinda hope I still can apply since there's a part of the info where state that registration period for 2013-graduate (and above) is different than the 2014-graduates... Need a word or phrase translated?

Thanks for the correction, Toritobe :), it should be だけで. So the complete sentence would be: きょねん オレ達が 少しイジっただけで 学校に 来なくなったもんな. Which means: "Last year, he no longer came to school just because we teased him a little, didn't he?" (Is this correct?) I took it that イジった as bully since the person...

Need a word or phrase translated?

Oh, my guess-translation was dead wrong, lol. Aaah, I see. I was wondering if the "父親って" part goes with the second line... (Since it's in the bubble containing the first sentence, I just thought it belong to that sentence, apparently I was wrong). And thanks for correcting the sentence! Can...

Need a word or phrase translated?

Hi, i need help with this sentence in a japanese manga I've been reading. 娘に 握りっ屁を かがされる 父親って I think it meant: (For a father?) to smell the (held? caught?) fart in (his) daughter's hand 日本中で 何人くらい いるものだ そうか I wonder if it happens to many people in Japan... Situation: his daughter was playing...

Name the best Anime you have seen!

I agree with people who said Ghibli's Hotaru no Haka (Grave of the Fireflies) is the best movie. It's really touching that I cried everytime I watch it. The art may look a bit dated now, but it really suits the story setting. As for series, since I love stories that are deep and meaningful, I...
